Not Without Shadows: The Journey of Feeling Fully 3.1.1
Season 3: Series 1: Episode 1- Not Without Shadows: The Journey of Feeling Fully
April 26, 2026
This series explores the idea that we embark on a journey to understand that life is not without shadows. Thus, we explore the journey of feeling fully.
We often try to push away emotions we dislike, such as anger, grief, shame, and guilt, thinking they are bad or make us feel bad, while only embracing those that feel good. But what if every emotion has value, even the uncomfortable ones? What if feeling, naming, and acknowledging all of them is the path to growth and self-understanding? Today, in Not Without Shadows: Feeling, Naming, and Becoming, we explore how embracing our full emotional spectrum, cultivating curiosity, refraining from judgment, and avoiding avoidance can transform the way we live, relate, and become our most authentic selves.
Some of the themes covered in this episode are:
* Learning everywhere and everyone
* Being ourselves and not a copy of someone else
* Critical reflection in our daily lives is essential
* Circumstances are neutral: reveal character, degrees of learning and unlearning, identify lessons, and apply knowledge
* Naming the emotions in our lives
* Understanding perfection and how it disrupts things
* Rejection is redirection
* The concept of existence involves socialization, influence, and staying the course until you know better, you do better
* Success and achievement are messy.
