This week’s song was born from a simple realization: Sometimes you don’t fully understand what God has done until you stop long enough to look behind you. Over the last year and a half, I’ve walked through grief, uncertainty, loss, major life changes, a cross-country move, and more than a few moments where I had no idea how things were going to work out. Yet somehow, one step at a time, God kept making a way. Not always the way I expected. Not always on my timeline. But faithfully. This week’s theme has been After the Storm: Building an Ebenezer, inspired by Samuel’s declaration in 1 Samuel 7:12: “Thus far the LORD has helped us.” That’s exactly what this song is about. Not perfect circumstances. Not easy victories. Not having all the answers. Just the quiet confidence that comes from looking back and realizing God has been present through every mile, every loss, every blessing, and every unexpected provision. If you’re in a season of recovery, reflection, or simply trying to catch your breath after a difficult chapter, I hope this song reminds you of an important truth: You’re not standing here because you’ve never struggled. You’re standing here because God has been faithful. Thus far. The Lord has helped us. Because sometimes the strongest testimony isn’t found in what you’re facing today. It’s found in remembering Who carried you through yesterday. Faith Audio ArsenalLyrical ammo for the faithfully armored.
