When God Uses Your Pain for His Purpose

In this episode of Faithful Stories Podcast, I sit down with Bambi a mother of six, grandmother of fifteen, author, speaker, and life coach whose story is a true picture of God’s redemptive love. Bambi opens up about her childhood filled with trauma, abuse, and pain and how Jesus met her at sixteen, right in the middle of it all. Through His grace, she found healing, forgiveness, and a new purpose. Today, she uses her story to help other women break free from shame, trauma, and generational pain. When Grief Strikes, Anchor on Psalms

She shares how she came to Christ in the front seat of a little Chevy Chevette, and how that moment changed the direction of her life. Yevette opens up about her journey through grief after losing three close family members, and how God’s Word, especially the Psalms, helped her keep going. For over 35 years, journaling has been her way of talking to God, writing to “an audience of One,” and she explains how this practice has kept her grounded and hopeful through hard seasons. Update! We are Rebranding!!

Hey friends! In this episode, I’m sharing an exciting update about where this podcast is headed. A couple of weeks ago, God placed a message on my heart, and after sitting with it, praying about it, and waiting for His timing, I’m finally stepping into it. The podcast is rebranding! The Lord gave me the name Faithful Stories Podcast—and with it came clear direction: get back on Instagram, start inviting guests to share their testimonies, and prepare with more intention. This new season is all about highlighting stories of redemption, pruning, healing, and walking with Jesus. I’ll still have solo episodes here and there, but the heart of this rebrand is to bring on guests who will share their faithful stories. By the time you hear this, things like the new website, cover art, and email contact may already be ready for you. So consider this your invitation—if you have a testimony about what God has done in your life, I’d love to hear from you! This is just the beginning of a new chapter, and I can’t wait to see how God moves through these conversations.
