Films are in focus with the big movie of the week focusing on the pop-king himself in the musically inclined biopic, “Michael.” The Salt Lake Film Society continues their Comedic Relief Series with ”Wayne’s World,” and “Clueless” screenings. Our festival pick of the week is the massive (and free) Tumbleweeds Film Festival showcases films about kids and for kids, by The Utah Film Center. And there are Earth/Arbor Day celebrations galore including at the Tracy Aviary, Ogden Nature Center, and the Utah Cultural Celebration Center. And if that wasn’t enough.. Andy's KSL-TV #WhatToWatch: ‘Normal’ is an action flick about a town anything but normal

The big movie of the week is “Normal [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt31195136/?ref_=fn_t_1],” an action-comedy starring Bob Odenkirk as the substitute sheriff of a small town in MN who finds out the town is anything *but* normal. “The Christophers [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt34966562/?ref_=fn_t_1],” starring Ian McKellen and Michaela Cole is a stronger dramatic option, but may still have a limited appeal. The writer of the movie wrote the script with these two actors in mind, and their performances didn't disappoint. But it's a little too art-community-insider for a mass appeal audience. Now streaming on Netflix is the second season of the Emmy-winning series “Beef [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt14403178/?ref_=fn_t_1],” with a new cast and new storyline. This time, they have to save another Princess, in outer space! “The Drama [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt33071426/?ref_=fn_t_1],” starring Zendaya and Robert Pattinson, is not what it looks like from the outside, but Andy could not stop thinking about it for the next couple of days after he saw it.  It asks the question: How would people see us differently if they knew about the worst thing we've ever done? A great option to kick off America250 is the movie “A Great Awakening [https://www.imdb.com/title/tt33305882/?ref_=fn_t_1],” about the friendship between Founding Father Benjamin Franklin and the fiery preacher Rev. George Whitefield.  The film was inspiring, patriotic and very much worth the watch!
