Figuring it Out with Fr. Nelson
Going on pilgrimage as a religious exercise dates back to the the Jewish practice of traveling to visit the Temple, or perhaps, even further to Abraham's call from God to the promised land. Christian history includes pilgrimages to Israel, Santiago de Compostella, Lourdes, and many other holy sites. So why do we do this?
