Hello everyone, welcome to stories from the shore & window seat. My name is Samerah and this my podcast where I focus mostly on storytelling. I’m excited to share this space & be on this journey with you. I can’t promise an entirely smooth ride because some days I will leave you with your jaw on the floor and other days you will leave this space with constipated emotions of inspiration & thought-provoking nuggets to share with people in your own sphere of influence. Either way, I promise we will still make time to commune with the clouds & waves together☺️

This is a story about the cost of investing time in people you once believed you could fix and how their brokenness can also break you. There is always room to “talk things through” but it should never be when you are not ready. We should always make time and space to process pain at our own pace remembering that no matter the size of the wound, the decision & power to be whole again lies with us, not with those who’ve hurt us.
