episode #30 Ingrid Bernsen | A Life Built on Secrets: Identity, Loss and Adoption artwork

#30 Ingrid Bernsen | A Life Built on Secrets: Identity, Loss and Adoption

In this episode, on Furtitude & Flow we meet Ingrid Bernsen, a Norwegian domestic adoptee who shares her powerful and deeply personal story about identity, loss, and the consequences of a system that, for decades, separated mothers and children. Ingrid grew up without knowing she had been adopted. It was only at the age of 20 that she accidentally discovered the truth through her grandmother. That revelation marked the beginning of a lifelong journey to understand who she is, what she has lost, and how adoption has shaped her life. She speaks about the experience of living with a loss of identity, being deprived of the opportunity to grow up with her biological mother and family, and how secrecy and shame affected multiple generations. Ingrid's biological mother became pregnant by a married man. She wanted to keep her daughter, but societal pressure and the authorities of the time pushed her to give her child up. Her story also sheds light on how unmarried mothers were met with shame, and how the needs of children were often overshadowed by the expectations and needs of adults and society. "No one thought about the children. Everyone thought about the needs of the adults." This is a conversation about identity, belonging, adoption trauma, truth, and the things that cannot be undone—but still deserve to be told. Ingrid Bernsen and Sandra Josiane Haukaas are the co-founders and leaders of Adoptert Sammen, a community for adoptees and people with lived experience of adoption. #29 Santos Bonacci: Syncretism, Symbolism & the Structure of Reality

In this episode of Furtitude and Flow, we welcome Santos Bonacci — a controversial and fascinating voice known for his work in astro-theology, syncretism, and esoteric philosophy. The conversation explores alternative perspectives on religion, history, and human consciousness. Santos shares his view on how ancient myths, astrology, and various religious traditions may be interconnected, suggesting the idea of a deeper universal knowledge that runs through different cultures and belief systems. Throughout the episode, we dive into symbolism, language, energy, and how meaning is created through human interpretation of the world. It’s a thought-provoking discussion that challenges mainstream narratives and encourages listeners to think critically and independently. This episode is conducted by Lucas, my associate and friend, and is sponsored by Furtitude and Flow – The Podcast. This is not a traditional interview, but a deep, reflective conversation designed to open perspectives and spark curiosity about the nature of reality and belief.

#28 Darrell Miklos – Treasure Hunt: From Space to the Sea | Gordon Cooper Story

In this episode of Furtitude and Flow, I’m joined by Darrell Miklos — treasure hunter, explorer, and deep-sea diver connected to one of the most mysterious treasure-hunting stories ever told. The story begins with Gordon Cooper, one of NASA’s original Mercury 7 astronauts and one of the first Americans to travel into space. During his 1963 mission orbiting Earth, Cooper claimed to observe unusual anomalies and patterns over the ocean from space — locations he carefully documented and kept notes on for years. Decades later, those coordinates would find their way to Darrell Miklos. What followed became known as Cooper’s Treasure — a journey that connects space exploration, hidden history, and deep-sea expeditions in the search for what may still lie beneath the ocean floor. In this episode, we explore the origins of the story, Gordon Cooper’s mysterious coordinates, underwater discoveries, and what it truly means to search for answers in some of the most unknown places on Earth Watch the series that inspired parts of this episode: Cooper’s Treasure https://www.hbomax.com [https://www.hbomax.com] Link: https://linktr.ee/FurtitudeandFlowPodcast [https://linktr.ee/FurtitudeandFlowPodcast]
