E72 | Detours in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Super Mario RPG Remake

This week I'm talking about the ways that Jedi: Survivor (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/]) has players detour more extensively from the main path than Fallen Order did. I also tried out the 2023 Super Mario RPG Remake (https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/super-mario-rpg-switch/ [https://www.nintendo.com/us/store/products/super-mario-rpg-switch/]) for the Nintendo Switch, which ended up being more fun than I expected! Last but certainly not least, this week I'm recommending the fan decompilation project known as Dusklight (https://twilitrealm.dev/ [https://twilitrealm.dev/]), which takes an existing copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and gives it a modern coat of paint! E71 | Improvements in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and MOTORSLICE

This week I wanted to take a look at some of the ways that Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/]) improves on its predecessor, with some very small and some larger changes made from Fallen Order. I also tried out MOTORSLICE (https://store.steampowered.com/app/2830030/MOTORSLICE/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/2830030/MOTORSLICE/]), which was recently released and combines some decent combat and parkour in a small game. E70 | Connections in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Pragmata

This week I'm talking about some of the connections that are made between characters in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/]) and contrasting it a little with the first game. I also tried the demo for Pragmata (https://store.steampowered.com/app/3357650/PRAGMATA/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/3357650/PRAGMATA/]) and really enjoyed what I played of the game, even if it's an incomplete picture of the entire experience. E69 | Star Wars Jedi: Survivor and Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening

For the month of May I'll be playing Star Wars Jedi: Survivor (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1774580/STAR_WARS_Jedi_Survivor/]), which is the sequel to one of the games I most enjoyed playing last year. This will be fun! New this week is also Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening (https://zelda.nintendo.com/links-awakening/ [https://zelda.nintendo.com/links-awakening/]) which is a beautiful remake of the 1993 Game Boy game. Classic Zelda gameplay, modern visual style! Last but not least, this week I'm recommending the book Star Wars Jedi: Battle Scars (https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Jedi-Battle-Scars/dp/B0B9T79MCP [https://www.amazon.com/Star-Wars-Jedi-Battle-Scars/dp/B0B9T79MCP]) for fans of Fallen Order who want to get a look at events that connect the two Jedi games. E68 | Open world of Spider-Man and Final Fantasy XIII-2

This week I'm wrapping up my time with Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered (https://store.steampowered.com/app/1817070/Marvels_SpiderMan_Remastered/ [https://store.steampowered.com/app/1817070/Marvels_SpiderMan_Remastered/]) and talking about the open world design of the game. Spoiler: it's great!
