We’ll hear from the Gibraltar Fire and Rescue Service following this morning’s fire at Ocean Spa Plaza. Residents were evacuated while crews dealt with the blaze, and thankfully no injuries have been reported. It's a jampacked show today - Special Olympics Gibraltar has returned from the Switzerland National Summer Games with an outstanding medal haul after a successful bowling competition. Some of the athletes and team members will be joining me in the studio. We’ll also be joined by the recipients of this year’s Youth Achievement Awards, recognising young people who have made a positive impact through leadership, achievement and community spirit. And this morning saw the presentation of the Brave Hearts Awards. The awards celebrate the courage of young people living with serious illnesses or undergoing medical treatment. Plus, Gibraltar’s first Green Bus Stop will be officially launched tomorrow. Sex Offenders, Commonwealth Games, EuroHockey, Nautilus Exchange

The number of sex offenders registered in Gibraltar has increased to 52. This represents a rise of almost 25% since February last year. Justice Minister Nigel Feetham intends to pass a law to keep sex offenders behind bars for longer. With the countdown on for the Commonwealth Games in Glasgow, we hear from Team Gibraltar's Chris Walker and veteran sports reporter, John Shephard. Europa Women's Hockey players are back from a successful EuroHockey tournament. With one month left before the school summer break Minister for Education, John Cortes will be joining me in the studio to discuss recently announced changes to the school year. Coming up on today's show with Kelly-Anne Borge: The change to school terms confirmed last Friday by the government has prompted plenty of debate in the past week. On last night’s Viewpoint TV show, Ros Astengo heard opinions from students, teachers and parents, as they prepare for implementation of the new calendar in the coming weeks - we hear more about that and our social media opinion poll results. One of Gibraltar's most significant military heritage sites, The City Under Siege, is being officially unveiled today following a major restoration and interpretation project. We catch up with Christian Wright, Director of Wright Tech Media, who is also exploring historical links with Jersey. We'll also look ahead to the return of the popular Concerts by Candlelight series - St Michael's Cave will be illuminated by more than 1,000 candles for an evening of timeless music on 3rd June. . School children are being invited to come up with names for the new electric buses that will be launched over the next few months.
