GODNAMERICA
America's view of human life did not originate in political theory but in the conviction that every person is created by God and therefore possesses inherent worth. The Declaration of Independence reflects this belief by placing life first among the unalienable rights endowed by the Creator. The Founding generation understood that government exists to protect life, not determine its value. Drawing from Scripture, particularly Psalm 139 and the doctrine that humanity is made in God's image, they saw life as sacred from its beginning. The lesson remains vital today: when a nation honors the sanctity of life, liberty has a secure foundation. When life loses its value, freedom soon becomes vulnerable.
