In this episode, we discuss the Golden Eagle Nugget - a large gold nugget found by a 17 year old in Larkinville, Australia on 15th January 1931. The nugget weighed 1136 Ounces and would be worth over $3 million with today's gold prices. The nugget was named the Golden Eagle because of the nugget's unique shape and resemblance to an eagle with it's wings spread out.
