Greybeard Philosophy - Wilderness. Inner health. The power to choose.
In this episode of Greybeard Philosophy, I reflect on a difficult trek into the Sipsey Wilderness with Carleigh-dog and the deeper wilderness it revealed: the hunger for applause. The trail does not validate your parking or your ego. Itasks only what you are carrying now. Through Epictetus, Jesus, Siddhartha, Base Camp, and the honest pressure of heat, storm, fatigue, and humility, this episode explores motive, praise, and the discipline of doing the deed withoutneeding applause as its wage. A clean deed can be shared, but it must be able to surviveinvisibility.
