episode 2.2-leave it at the door…metaphorically cover

Description

Sometimes the conflict experienced in a marriage doesn't come from within, but from the outside. It still affects the marriage, though, or at least, it can. Today we're talking about ways that we've done this poorly and guiding principles we use now to help us successfully navigate tumultuous seasons with other people. Come along with us on this adventure! * Show note: For those of you who may be wondering, I (David) goofed on a quotation I made in this episode. The scripture I referred to about resolving issues with other people wasn't from Paul, it was Jesus in Matthew 18:15-17. **Also, in case you're wondering, the Proverb I keep mis-quoting comes from Proverbs 17:27-28: He who restrains his words has knowledge,And he who has a cool spirit is a man of understanding.Even a fool, when he keeps silent, is considered wise; When he closes his lips, he is considered prudent.
