I was first introduced to natural health through my chiropractic care when I was a young child,visiting them whenever I was sick or had headaches or neck pain. Later, in my early 20’s, I started working for the same chiropractic office in Smyrna, where I not only learned about chiropractic care helping to improve many different ailments, I also became their new patient consultant and x-ray technician.
I also took several classes and seminars about nutrition, herbs, detoxifying foot baths, muscle-testing and became their laser technician. This was my first experience with laser and red light therapy, which I witnessed phenomenal results with patients. I took a break from working after 9 years to have my first child, and then became a certified natural childbirth educator for the Bradley Method. I had over 20 couples have natural births!
Then I was hired at the Bremen Health Clinic in 2014 and worked as a patient consultant and chiropractic assistant. This clinic exposed me to another level of healing with natural and holistic approaches, specifically with bio-feedback energetic analysis with the Vital. I became a certified Vital technician and worked with clients with a variety of health concerns. Clients would see results sometimes just after one analysis with recommendations I would determine were best for their health. I was able to make efficient and accurate supplement and modality suggestions that gave positive results. This approach also opened the door to more work into emotional connections, which are closely connected to health concerns.
I am so passionate about healing the body with natural methods whenever possible and I truly believe if we can identify the specific body needs and given the appropriate support, the body can heal itself. I am also supportive of conventional medicine when it’s deemed necessary, though if someone can avoid taking prescriptions at an earlier age or reduce the amount of prescriptions they take over their lifetime, they can gain more quality of life and experience the joy of having the knowledge and power to make healthier choices to achieve the wellness they deserve.
