Description

Send us your thoughts through Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2417750/fan_mail/new]  In this episode, we continue our series on the Fruit of the Spirit and dig into one of the most grounding truths in all of Scripture — the faithfulness of God. This is Part 1. Before we can walk out faithfulness in our own lives, we need to understand what it means that God Himself is completely and perfectly faithful. We explore the Greek word pistis and the rich Hebrew words emet, emunah, and hesed, and what they reveal about God's character.  We spend time in the Psalms, in Lamentations, and in the New Testament seeing how God's faithfulness shows up across the whole story of Scripture. We hope this episode encourages you and grounds you. 87. The Fruit of the Spirit | Faithfulness Part 2

Send us your thoughts through Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2417750/fan_mail/new]  In this episode, we pick up where we left off and ask the question — what does God's faithfulness actually produce in us?   This is Part 2. We explore the difference between self-produced faithfulness and Spirit-produced faithfulness, and why one will only take you so far.  We also look at the real tension between faithfulness as a fruit of the Spirit and faithfulness as something we are called to walk out. And we spend some time on the mental and emotional health benefits of both trusting in God's faithfulness and becoming faithful people ourselves.  We hope this episode brings some practical encouragement to your everyday life. Send us your thoughts through Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2417750/fan_mail/new] In this episode of the Healthy & Redeemed Podcast, we continue our Fruit of the Spirit series by exploring biblical kindness. What does true kindness really look like? Is it simply being nice, or is there something deeper God wants to produce in us? Together, we look at the Greek word chrēstotēs and how Jesus modeled a Spirit-produced kindness that met people’s real needs with love, wisdom, truth, and compassion. We also discuss the difference between self-produced kindness and the fruit of the Holy Spirit, how abiding in Christ changes our hearts, and what modern mental health research says about kindness and emotional well-being. If you have ever struggled with your motives, wondered how to love difficult people, or wanted to reflect Jesus more genuinely in everyday life, this episode will encourage you to keep in step with the Spirit and grow in Christlike kindness. 83. The Fruit of the Spirit | Forbearance or Patience

Send us your thoughts through Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2417750/fan_mail/new] What does it really mean to be patient? In this episode of Healthy & Redeemed, we continue our Fruit of the Spirit series by exploring forbearance, often translated as patience. This kind of patience is more than simply waiting—it is a steady, Spirit-produced ability to remain slow to anger, respond with restraint, and bear with others even in difficult moments. We will look at the biblical meaning of patience and explore the difference between self-produced patience and the kind of forbearance that only the Holy Spirit can form in us. Patience is not something you have to force—it is something God grows in you. Podcast Series Introduction: Fruit of the Spirit | What is it?
