Have you ever heard of the Rosenhan experiments at Standford? If not, you’re not alone. It didn’t receive as much attention as some other experiments performed by Standford, but the results were unsettling. Because unlike some experiments, this one was held in the real world. No safeguards were put into place the volunteers, and there was no way for them to quit. Once it started, they were trapped.
