Celebration Sunday 2026

On Celebration Sunday, Pastor Stevan reflects on God’s faithfulness at Hyde Wesleyan Church, celebrating stories of salvation, baptism, discipleship, generosity, and kingdom impact over the past year. Drawing from Acts 2:42–47, the message emphasizes that healthy churches are not built on statistics but on devotion—ordinary people continually saying “yes” to Jesus through worship, prayer, fellowship, discipleship, and obedience, resulting in transformed lives and a growing church.

Week 7 - Structure & Spirit

Pastor Stevan reflects on Acts 6–7 and the recent Wesleyan General Conference, reminding the church that healthy churches live in the tension between Spirit and structure. Through stories of denominational challenges, growth, and prayer, he encourages Hyde Wesleyan to embrace grace, unity, and dependence on the Holy Spirit as the church continues to grow and move forward together.

Week 6 - Growing Church

In this message from the “Church in Motion” series, Pastor Angel explores Acts 6:1–7 and reminds the church that growth happens when everyone embraces their role in serving. Through the example of the early church appointing seven Spirit-filled servants to care for overlooked widows, she emphasizes that every act of service—whether visible or behind the scenes—has kingdom value and helps move the mission of Jesus forward. Pastor Angel challenges believers to move beyond simply attending church and instead become active participants in the body of Christ, using their gifts faithfully wherever God calls them. With personal stories and practical encouragement, she highlights that true impact comes not from recognition, but from humble obedience and a willingness to say “yes” to serving others for God’s glory.

Week 5 - House to Heart

In this week’s Church in Motion series message, Pastor Stevan explores Acts 5 and reminds us that the church stays alive and active when ordinary people carry the extraordinary presence of Jesus into everyday spaces. Through authentic faith lived out in homes, relationships, and daily life, believers continue the mission of bringing hope, healing, and the presence of Christ to others.

Week 4 - Remember & Proclaim

Pastor Stevan continues the Church in Motion series with “Remember and Proclaim,” drawing from Acts 4 to show how the early church responded to opposition with bold faith and dependence on the Holy Spirit . He challenges believers to return to community, remember who God is, and ask for boldness—not comfort—while pointing to communion as a vital way we are spiritually refueled to keep living on mission.
