The hall of faith - Enoch

300 Years of Getting Closer | Hebrews 11: The Hall of Faith, Ep. 2 Most people visit God. They show up when they need something, when life gets hard, when the crisis arrives. And then they go back to their regular life. Enoch didn't visit. He walked. Genesis 5 mentions it twice in the same chapter — almost like it couldn't say it once and move on. He walked with God. For three hundred years, his faith didn't plateau. It grew. It deepened. It kept pace with a God who never stopped moving. And then one day, God just took him. No death. No grave. No record of his body. Hebrews 11:5 says he was translated — that he should not see death — because before his translation, he had this testimony: he pleased God. This episode asks the question Enoch's life forces us to answer: Are you running ahead of God, lagging behind, or walking with Him? Because there's a difference between the life that checks in and the life that stays close. And Enoch spent three centuries showing us what staying close actually looks like. The principle that carries this episode: God doesn't translate people who visit Him. He translates people who walk with Him. Episode 2 of 5 in our Hebrews 11 series — Tuesday's word for anyone who wants more than a religion. Who wants a walk. Welcome to Ignite Your Morning — your wake-up call for victorious living. The Hall of Faith

Most of us have made the drift. God asks for something specific — and instead of doing that thing, we do something that feels close enough. Something that should count. Something reasonable. That drift has a name. And it started in Genesis 4. This week, Ignite Your Morning walks through Hebrews 11 — the Hall of Faith — one person at a time. We start with Abel. Not because his story is the longest, but because his question is the most immediate: when God asks you for something specific, what are you actually bringing? Abel brought exactly what God asked. His brother Cain brought what made sense to him. And the difference between those two offerings is still the difference between a life of faith and a life of substitution. The principle that carries this episode: The sacrifice was never about the animal. It was about the obedience. This is Episode 1 of 5 — Monday's word for anyone who's been giving God good things while quietly holding back the thing He actually asked for. The Promise: the Tool

Real peace isn't the absence of the problem. It's the presence of something stronger than the problem. In this episode of Ignite Your Morning, we open John 14:27 — one of the most familiar verses in scripture, and one of the most misunderstood. Jesus isn't promising that the trouble goes away. He's offering something that holds you while you're still in it. For the person whose anxiety shows up before they can even name it. For the one who's tired of waiting to feel okay until everything gets resolved. Today we get practical. One tool. Use it today. Ignite Your Morning is a daily Bible-based podcast that meetsyou where you are — using scripture and real stories to help you solve realproblems, rebuild your faith, and move forward with purpose. New episodes everyMonday through Friday. If this episode spoke to you, subscribe so you never miss amorning. And if you have a minute — leave a review. I am sending help

There's something you've been carrying alone. You picked it up somewhere along the way and decided nobody else could help you with it. And you've been carrying it so long that you've started to lose your sense of what's actually true about it. That's not weakness. That's what happens when you navigate in the dark without a compass long enough. In this episode of Ignite Your Morning — the signature episode of the week — we go to John 14:16–17 and 26. Jesus didn't just go ahead of you. He left someone behind for you. Someone called to stand right next to you. And someone to show you what's real when the fog gets too thick to see through. You were never meant to carry this alone. And you haven't been.
