Host Daniel Harrison is joined by Mike Palmer in our final episode of the first season of Inside Jackson Station. We dig into the origin story of the book itself as Dan outlines what went into his research process as he pulled everything together. Dan and Mike reflect on the relevance of the story of Jackson Station to the issues of today and insights gained in making the podcast. After learning how the Pumps formed and discovered Jackson Station, we hear Mattie tell her the story of being at the club on that fateful night in April of 1990 when Gerald Jackson was viciously attacked with a bush ax in the parking lot and left for dead. We hear what the Pumps are up to these days and get some perspective on what Jackson Station means to them and how they've carried their memories of the club with them to this day.
