Social media comes in the form of phones, tablets, computers and watches nowadays. You can’t go anywhere without seeing a form of advertisement or promotion. When does it become unhealthy? How often are we going through our lives on our phone? Usually, a short break on our phone can be stress relieving. When I mean that I think 30 minutes to an hour. I would say that’s appropriate. To be more realistic to our world today, I would place that more in the 2-3 hour range. What are you doing while being on your phone? I try and fit in a form of activity where I can use my phone and do something healthy. Exercise, drawing, working on emails, etc. it’s become an integrated part of my day 24/7. How can we manage our time to make it a better experience?

Why is it so hard to have interactions include things you want. Sometimes, the fear of drama and making things difficult in a relationship or conversation prevents you from having boundaries and getting needs met. Is it easier to just do things by yourself? Body Image & Cosmetics 5

SOOO many people I know are doing or have done a form of cosmetic procedure to touch up or work out a part of their body that is easily removable. I spend so much time on social media and I am aware a majority of influencers and celebrities spend some to look the part. Now, I am not in the business to judge whoever does these things. Sometimes, they do become an issue when the procedures start taking away from a persons natural appearance and move into a cartoon figure. For me, functionality and comfort are reasons to do these. Heck, why wouldn't I want the zit or mole that takes up a large part of my face to be removed. I also enjoy the realm of cosmetics and the options available are WILD. You can go in for self-care or to fix that bend in your nose. It's so stigmatized but it doesn't have to be. There's a ideal of how I want my body to be and it involves working out and it can only take you so far. That's when procedures come in. When you've tried your best, an alternative doesn't seem to bad. I'd be sure to research any after effects to be safe and go from there. Body image and cosmetics, oh boy is this going to get me cancelled... MAYBE.

Going Out & Feeling Anxious 4

I struggle sometimes with going out and it can be hard gathering the courage to even take a step out the front door. I’ve had to become comfortable with not having a person with me to spend the day with at this age. Everyone’s out and doing their hustle and it can get lonely. A large part of growing up is soooo difficult with friends having filled schedules. That's what makes the disconnection and reconnecting with friends is so interesting. It's hard to believe the world doesn't start and stop with you. You can see I tend to focus on other people and not myself. One thing I've learned, friends can be made anywhere and they're not meant to fit completely. There's brunch besties, study buddies, and work buddies. It can be tough not having somebody know every part of your life, but it can also be freeing to know that there's a community anywhere. Anxious and alone, we're not going to let that happen by choice.
