S1E7 - Special: Nottingham Light Night

Join Lawrence Robertson for a Kleócast special report... In this episode, Lawrence attends Nottingham Light Night, a festival encompassing a trail of incredible light-based art installations across the city, which took place in February this year. Produced in partnership by Nottingham City Council and It’s in Nottingham, the city’s business improvement district, the event drew huge crowds to admire work by a mixture of local, national and international artists, at various locations, from Nottingham Castle to Sneinton Market. Lawrence follows the tours of the festival organised by local socially-engaged artist Ameila Daiz, in partnership with My Sight Notts and the Nottingham Deaf Society, which were specifically tailored to cater for members of the public with either sight or hearing impairments, providing a perfect opportunity to explore the relationship between the arts and accessibility.
