Episode Five- Sisters

For episode five of Knock Before Entering, we bring in our sister friends (our friends who happen to be sisters...not our sisters...but they are sisters) and basically get to know them. We have been attending the same house of prayer for a few months now and realized we knew nothing about them...except that they were sisters. What better way to do that than to put them on microphones and ask them questions? There is actually probably better ways, but....this is what we do. We discuss what its like to be a sister since Casey hasn't ever been one, life struggles, and found out that they have owned 2 restaurants together. We even had our first on air phone call. Julie and Tamra are both amazing and God has brought them both so far. It is amazing to see their bond and we are thankful for them both.

Episode Four - Not To Bash The "C"hurch...

Once again, we didn't prepare for this before recording. In this episode, we discuss our frustrations with the Church as a whole and religion. We talk about where we are spiritually and some other stuff, probably. We love the Church and we think it's necessary in some aspects... but we both feel that God has so much more waiting for us to discover about His character and uses for us to do as the bride of Christ. Where we are in our marriage is defined by where we each are with Christ....we just talk a little about that.

Episode Three - It's A Family Affair

In this episode, our guests talk about the struggles that come with 16 years of marriage, being young parents, living through poverty, working through the aftermath of affairs, and staying married. It's time people really start discussing the nitty gritty of marriage, so here we are. This is a message of hope and perseverance. Enjoy! (per usual, it takes about 20 minutes for us to get passed all of our nonsense)

Episode Two - Where's Your Head At?

In this episode, we (Casey and Denise) talk about the chaos that is constantly in our minds. Where some people have open dialogue with themselves, others narrate their lives in a fun British accent. Fears of final destination type death, stresses of life, random thoughts where you think you're in a simulation and everyone else are just NPC's..... we've thought it all. Figuring out how to take our thoughts captive is an ongoing lesson that we are both trying to learn. Otherwise, we will go crazy(er).

Episode One - The Intro

Our very first episode of Knock Before Entering. If you're out there listening, give us grace. We don't really know what we are doing, but we are having fun doing it. Much like our marriage. We hope you enjoy, but we aren't putting much weight on that.
