About Let’s Talk: The Essential Guide to Being Human

I am what is called a channel—a sensitive, intuitive person who can receive and transmit messages from non-physical realms. I act as a bridge between the material world and the spiritual dimensions, tuning in to guides, loved ones, or a consciousness that most people can't perceive. During my many meditations and conversations with the spirit world, they often started with “Let’s Talk about…” After many months of listening and writing, the Let’s Talk Podcast was born. Episode 20: Let’s talk about how you, as a human, can see goodness in all.

In this episode, we explore how the mind creates stories. Some thoughts are helpful, some protective, and some that don’t hold up once you look a little closer. Thoughts show up constantly, but without pausing to examine them, it’s easy to mistake them for facts. We talk about what happens when you slow down and actually assess a thought, especially a negative one. When you trace it back to its source, whether from fear, anger, or love, you often discover that your first conclusion wasn’t accurate at all. A thought rooted in love can’t be negative, while a thought rooted in defense rarely reflects your true self. We also look at how shifting your perspective makes it easier to turn negative thinking into a more positive reaction. When you understand where a thought comes from, the energy around it changes. One positive shift often leads to another, creating a ripple that affects not just you, but everything around you. And finally, we imagine what life could feel like if everyone practiced this kind of awareness. How would it change your relationships, your choices, and even the collective energy of the world? Seeing the good doesn’t ignore reality; it transforms it. * Not every one of your thoughts reflects the truth. * Thoughts from love feel different than those from fear. * Understanding where a thought comes from can help transform it. * One positive thought can transform you and those around you. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Spend a day paying close attention to your inner dialogue. Notice each thought as it arises. Keep a simple tally of how many thoughts feel positive and how many feel negative. You can jot them down in a notebook or use your phone. When you notice a negative thought, pause and ask yourself: "Is there another way to view this?”  Try to gently shift your perspective toward something more constructive, hopeful, or empowering. Episode 19: Let’s talk about the state of all things.

What if the energy you put into the world is shaped entirely by how you experience your own life? That’s the question at the heart of this episode. We take a look at how every moment, every reaction, and every emotion contributes to the energy you send out to the world. We explore the idea that energy begets energy, and that the way you process your experiences determines whether you hold on to negative or positive energy. We take a look at experiences as a way to learn. If each moment exists to evolve the soul, then even the difficult ones carry purpose. Instead of dividing life into “positive” and “negative” experiences, we explore how fully feeling each can shift your energy, release what weighs you down, and leave you wiser. Finally, we learn how negative experiences can either harden the mind or open the heart. When emotions are suppressed, they linger and distort perspective. But when they’re felt, processed, and released, they become catalysts for evolution. This episode helps you see each experience as an opportunity to understand yourself, elevate your energy, and positively influence the world around you. * Why each experience offers a chance for your soul to grow. * Your reactions influence the energy you send out into the world. * Emotions move through you when you allow yourself to fully feel them. * Even negative energy can shift into something meaningful when you work with it. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Think of an experience that made you react in a negative way. Review that experience and see if you can reframe it to include what you learned. Did anything positive come from that experience? Can you try to process it using what you know about positive energy? Now, how does it feel? Are you ready to let it go from your mind?  About the Podcast: Let’s Talk: The Essential Guide to Being Human This podcast was born from my experiences as a channel, an intuitive who receives and communicates messages from the spirit world. Episode 17: Let’s Talk About Success

Have you ever wondered what your life might feel like if you stopped judging yourself negatively and started treating yourself with real compassion instead? In this episode, we explore what happens when you stop seeing your reactions as “failures” and start seeing them as human experiences you were never taught how to navigate. You’ll hear how acknowledging your feelings, rather than suppressing them, helps them move through your body, making space for clarity, growth, and even a shift toward something more positive. We’ll explore how emotions aren’t moral failures, how reactions are often learned patterns, and why forgiving yourself is the first step toward real emotional freedom. When you allow your feelings to exist without judgment, you create space for understanding, healing, and even transformation. This conversation is all about learning to honor your inner world, release the pressure to be perfect, and embrace the full spectrum of being human with all the emotions that come with it. In this episode, we’ll talk about: * Why emotional highs and lows are a normal part of being human. * The difference between honoring emotions and excusing harmful behavior. * How self‑compassion helps you to let go of uncomfortable feelings. * How understanding that your reactions are learned, and looking at them can lead to growth, clarity, and a more peaceful life. SELF-REFLECTION: 1. Do you carry the weight of a poor decision or action that hurt another? 2. Can you forgive yourself and use that experience to learn what it means to be more compassionate towards yourself and others?  About the Podcast: Let’s Talk: The Essential Guide to Being Human This podcast was born from my experiences as a channel, an intuitive who receives and communicates messages from the spirit world. Episode 16: Let’s Talk About Friendship

What comes to mind when you hear the word friendship? Happiness, contentment, and a longing to connect. So, why is it so hard to feel that same kind of friendship toward ourselves or the world around us? In this episode, we explore what happens when you treat yourself with the same care, patience, and affection you offer the people you love most. Imagine speaking to yourself the way a true friend would. Imagine extending that same warmth to all living things. Suddenly, spending time with yourself and the world around you becomes something you look forward to. We talk about how the joy you feel in your closest relationships isn’t exclusive to those connections. You can show up for yourself. Friendship, at its core, is about nurturing, supporting, and choosing love again and again. And when you bring that energy inward and outward, everything begins to feel a little joyful..  In this episode, we explore: * What friendship really means beyond the traditional definition. * How treating yourself like a beloved friend can change your emotional sense of self. * Why extending kindness to all living things creates a deeper sense of connection. * The difference between depending on others for fulfillment and cultivating it within. OPTIONAL ACTIVITY: Find a few uninterrupted hours to be alone—somewhere peaceful where you feel comfortable. Speak kindly to yourself as you would a good friend. Say out loud how much you appreciate your best qualities. List those qualities on paper. Be specific and sincere. This can become your personal reminder from your best self to your future self. Refer to it often when you are feeling low or in need of support.
