Jesus, Giver of Life | John 5

1. Jesus gives life to the helpless. 2. The Father has given Jesus authority over life and judgment. 3. The evidence is clear, but some still won’t believe. Reflection & Application 1. In what areas of your life are you still trying to “make it to the pool” on your own instead of coming helplessly to Jesus for life? 2. Are you treating Jesus as a helpful teacher and miracle worker, or are you truly honoring Him as the Son of God with authority over your entire life? 3. What evidence of Jesus’s identity have you seen, heard, or read that you may be tempted to ignore, explain away, or delay responding to? 4. Jesus told the religious leaders that they searched the Scriptures but refused to come to Him—how can someone be around the things of God while still resisting God Himself? 5. Take Him at His Word | John 4:43-54

1. Bring your needs to Jesus - but don't stop there. 2. Jesus is so much more than a holy vending machine. 3. Anchor your faith in the Word of Jesus. 4. As you follow Jesus your faith will deepen and overflow to others. Reflection & Application Questions:1.When you come to Jesus, what are you primarily seeking—what He can do for you, or who He is? How can you tell from your prayers and priorities? 2. Where in your life right now are you being asked to trust Jesus’ Word without yet seeing the outcome? What would it look like to “go on your way” like the official did? 3. If someone looked only at your actions this past week, what would they conclude about what you truly believe about Jesus? 4. Think about a recent struggle (anxiety, temptation, or failure). In that moment, did you trust God’s promise, or did you rely on something else? What would trusting Him have looked like instead? 5. Is your relationship with Jesus having any visible impact on the people around you?
