About Look To The Sun Podcast

I'm Tiffany J. - a former educator of 15 years faced with a longing to change things up and pivot, to venture into the unknown and follow my heart and a growing desire to start a podcast. My hope is that this podcast will feel like a conversation with your new best friend about all the things so many of us either just don't discuss or we'd like to have deeper, more insightful conversations about. Because, like a wise person recently told me, there's no way I'm the only one out there who has experienced the things I've faced or had the thoughts I've pondered. Life is hard and it's a journey with many twists and turns with joyous events sprinkled in along the way as well. That's exactly what Look To The Sun will cover: the hard things, the scary things, the fun things, the ah-ha! moments, the precious moments of life...ALL of it! So tune in to listen as I welcome you to the conversation and my thoughts on things such as: so this is 40!, how to age gracefully, recognizing when you need to pivot and what that entails, fostering friendships, marital roles, letting go of toxic people and things in your life, women empowering other women, exercising your mind, and so much more! And last but not least, let's all look to the sun and let the shadows disappear, because life is truly beautiful and there are blessings everywhere. Happy 2024!

It's a new year. I want to make mine as happy as possible. I bet you do too. I've had some obstacles already with achieving that goal for this year, personally. Listen in as I talk about SAD and what that is and why I think I might have it. I will also talk about setting some intentions in 2024 and a correlating word that I'd like to focus on in helping me achieve more happiness this year, in addition to a couple of other things I've looked at to help me along the way that are created by two VERY talented ladies whom you may already be familiar with. Our kids often might be the only ones who truly see us for who we are. Parenting is not easy. It comes with a lot of demands, responsibility, and sometimes struggles along the way.
