Episode 3: From Hawaii to Crestone

After Be Scofield / Guru Magazine publishes a damning expose about Love Has Won the cult flees to Kauai only to be met by fierce protests from locals. Forced back to the mainland the group spends time near Mt. Shasta as Amy’s health declines. When the group returns to their mission house near Crestone, CO, longtime member Miguel Lamboy discovers that the cult has been keeping the deceased body of Amy for several weeks.

Episode 2: Mother God

In 2007 Amy Carlson traveled to Crestone Colorado to be with a new age guru named Amerith. Soon they became Mother and Father God and began attracting followers online. Over the years several Father Gods would come and go. In 2020 Alex Whitten leaves his wife to join the cult only to be found naked, and hallucinating in the desert by the police a few days later. Family suspects that he was drugged while members say he took on “dark energy” from Father God.

Episode 1: "Love You Momma"

Amy Carlson’s followers express their love and devotion and offer a touching perspective on how they came to believe Amy is God. In April 2021 the body of deceased cult leader Amy Carlson was found decayed, wrapped in Christmas lights in the groups Crestone, Colorado mission house. Seven members were arrested as authorities believe she had been dead for several weeks.
