Snoqualmie/Seattle/Quad Strain with 2 weeks to go

Canada!!

I made it! To the Canadian border!! Still 70 miles to make up this week, but for now, a big part of this thru hike feels like a chapter closing, and I am so grateful to everyone I've met and everyone who has supported me along the way.

Return to Seattle for Leg Injury

Returned briefly to Seattle to do an emergency x ray / ct / mri for a potential femoral stress fracture, but headed back up trail now to try to finish with my friends. Fingers crossed I make it.

Snoqualmie/Seattle/Quad Strain with 2 weeks to go

Two weeks and 250 miles to go till Canada and my left quad strain had gotten a lot worse. I wasn't sure I'd be able to make it to Snoqualmie Pass and was going to bail out at Tacoma Pass but my friends, some pain killers, and a road walk shortcut got me through. Took a day and a half off in Seattle and headed back up trail soon again! Two more stops and we'll be done with the PCT!

White Pass, and under 3 weeks to the finish line!

Uploading this fewer than 100 miles from Snoqualmie, where I'll hitch into Seattle for the night. A beautiful first stretch in Washington. Summited Old Snowy yesterday, and saw a beautiful view of Adams and Tahoma. My left quad strain is hurting but also not getting worse, so I'm trusting that my exercises and stretches will get me through!
