episode RESPONSIBILITY artwork

RESPONSIBILITY

It is said, that we should be responsible for our life. Basically, we cannot be fully responsible, since we cannot fully control life, such as death, diseases and falling in love. Also, we cannot control the outcome of our choices and other people’s perception of a situations. Feeling responsible for our life and maybe even for others may result in blame and shame, if we believe that we fail in it. In order not to blame, shame or tame each other, it may be good to know, that we are all doing our best until we know better and are able to act otherwise. We are all being lived as well as living life cause to our present circumstances and up-to date conditionings, and most of the time, we are not aware of it. And even “becoming aware” of something is out of our control, even though we may feel we are. Ex. we may unconsciously play out the same pattern in our way of living over and over, until something unexpected happens and makes us aware of it. Perhaps responsibility could be seen as an ability to respond to our present life experience with a greater awareness rather than reacting to our perceptions. In many ways, doctors have been given a great responsibility in taking care of a human body, and some are probably feeling honoured by what they are entrusted. However, some have lost humbleness for life by forgetting that no human knows the entire truth. Some have stopped inquiring and looking for other approaches than those they once were taught. It is quite understandable, since for a long time we have been taught to believe in what we are told, rather than what we know by heart and by our own experiences. Sometimes science even claim to know which methods are applicable to clarifying the truth, without even questioning what the truth is. Medical science has its limitations. This is obvious if we look at the many people with chronical disorders. Time has come to recognize these limitations and welcome other ways in order to achieve more well-being. The doctors may even be relived from their feeling of responsibility for the life of another human being, which they never will be able to handle fully. Responsibility can be considered as taking care of our perceptions without blaming or shaming ourselves or others for the choices we make. For example, I feel some kind of responsibility for sharing this knowledge, knowing, that I cannot control if it is received. I also feel responsible for taking care of my bodily sensations which may imply responding differently to my life circumstances. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. episode EVIDENCE artwork

EVIDENCE

Evidence refer to observations from a selected group of people at a specific time in their lives, where the researcher chooses the focus of interest. If the focus is on lack, that is what is sought and found. If the focus is on well-being, that is what is sought and found. What is sought and found depends on the focus of the researcher. In order to say that a given study is true for someone else than the people in the study, that research must be repeated in other human beings. So, if we are curiously investigating medical evidence, how many studies are reproduced under exactly the same experimental circumstances in order to say that the results of the study also concern someone else? The answer is: none! It is impossible to make two identical human studies. The circumstances will always be new; a new day, new surroundings, new eyes. Nothing remains the same, neither the conditions nor the examined person. And to definitively prove that something is truth, we also need to prove it the other way around. For example, if someone gets cured by a treatment, we must prove that they will not get cured without this treatment or with any other treatment. This is not possible to prove, since a person cannot participate in two studies at the same time. Remember that every hour and every day we get new in-puts and make new discoveries, and it all affects us and the healing process in ways the researcher and the test persons are unaware of. So it is with rather little knowledge that we sometimes express ourselves with great certainty by saying "It is proven." Evidence-based studies are not proofs. The proof is in every living individual and the final "result" is at the end of life. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. episode INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK HEALING artwork

INTRODUCTION TO THE BOOK HEALING

We all have our unique perceptions of life and ways of expressing ourselves. Anyway, it seems to me that we all sooner or later are facing the same existential emotions such as fear, anxiety, desire, anger, loss, shame, guilt, pride and more. In this way, we are very much alike. These emotions may be suppressed, or we may not be aware of them being at play. If we get too identified with these emotions and our beliefs about them, then they may contribute to illness and diseases.  The book also represents a paradigm shift, from regarding the body as a mechanical entity towards regarding ourself as an energetic entity in a coherent energetic system. The communication in the body and with the surroundings is a constant ongoing process. It goes beyond the mindset of believing in “one cause-and-effect” explanation for symptoms to occur and healing to take place, revealing that, there are many ways to get healed. Symptoms are messages that may be understood and rarely “enemies” that must be removed, although it may be a great relief for a while. This approach offers an understanding of how the symptom could make sense to the person. We can still choose to relieve the symptoms in different ways while looking at it from within, where it arose from the very beginning. Several approaches are possible at the same time. It is about listening to our heart and trust life and the body's healing abilities, and acknowledging that every challenge also is a gift.   Finally, this book is divided into four parts. Part I illuminates some concepts that have been used more or less deterministic in terms of our health, and in turn, these concepts have contributed to a rather deterministic way of relating to diseases. It is concepts like evidence, inheritance, survival, quality of life, communication, resistance    and responsibility. Part II offers some different approaches to healing. Part III describes some specific symptoms and conditions, such as stress, depression, auto immune diseases, addiction, trauma, dementia, skin disorders, high blood pressure and more, in order to bring an understanding of the body and mind as a coherent and ever-changing system. Where applicable and appropriate, I include descriptions of my own case story, as well as others, to demonstrate how a more holistic approach can be used in daily life. Part IV describes a practical approach to healing, and offers a vision for our common health care.     ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. En fantastisk app med et enormt stort udvalg af spændende podcasts. Podimo formår virkelig at lave godt indhold, der takler de lidt mere svære emner. At der så også er lydbøger oveni til en billig pris, gør at det er blevet min favorit app.
