The Father

What if the Prodigal Son story isn't really about the son at all? This Sunday we discovered the true hero: The Father. When the younger son demanded his inheritance early, he essentially wished his father dead. Yet the father divided his very life to honor the request. God feels the same pain when we choose sin over His presence. But here's the beautiful truth: while we're still far off, our Father is watching, waiting, and ready to run toward us.
