Dr. Susan Rich is on the show to share some strategies for how to support children and families during this time. Then, Mark is joined by his former professor, Dr. Pamela Epley, a special education expert at the Erikson Institute for Child Development in Chicago. Together they talk about the role that teachers and schools play in supporting kids through the transition back to school.

Dr. Aftab is a psychiatrist in Cleveland, Ohio, and Clinical Assistant Professor of Psychiatry at Case Western Reserve University. He is a member of the Psychiatric Times editorial board, and he writes online at Psychiatry at the Margins. Dr. Puri is a psychiatrist in private practice in Los Angeles. He practices multiple forms of psychotherapy, including hypnosis, in addition to managing medications. He is currently a clinical Assistant Professor, and the President of the Psychiatric Clinical Faculty Association at UCLA.
