Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: Psalm 127:1 (NIV) — "Unless the Lord builds the house, those who build it labor in vain."  The Lord built this nation. The Bible was its foundation. And piece by piece, that foundation has been dismantled — starting in 1962 when prayer and Scripture were removed from our schools.  The wall between church and state that Americans have accepted as law? It was never meant to protect the state from the church. It was meant to protect the church from the state. Five words lifted out of context from a letter Thomas Jefferson wrote in 1802 have been used to silence the very faith that made this nation great.  Speaker of the House Johnson recently held up a worn Bible and said something worth sitting with — a Bible that's falling apart usually belongs to a man who isn't. How long before we say the same about this nation?  In this week's "Moment of Truth," Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) calls every Christian man to stop accepting the lie and start fighting — politically, culturally, and in his own home — to put the word of God back where it belongs.  Support the show [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/support] Listen now at https://courageouschristianity.today/moment-of-truth/ [https://courageouschristianity.today/moment-of-truth/] or find "Moment of Truth" wherever you get your podcasts and if you like what you hear, subscribe and listen each week.  Visit CourageousChristianity.today [https://courageouschristianity.today/] for full episodes, resources, and to learn more. Faith Without Action

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: James 2:14-17 (NIV) — "What good is it, my brothers and sisters, if someone claims to have faith but has no deeds? Can such faith save them? Suppose a brother or a sister is without clothes and daily food. If one of you says to them, 'Go in peace, keep warm and well fed,' but does nothing about their physical needs, what good is it? In the same way, faith by itself, if it is not accompanied by action, is dead." Faith without action is not faith. It is a title with nothing behind it. Colonel Richard J. Mendelow (Ret) tells a story this week that every Christian man needs to hear — a moment in Frankfurt where he came face to face with a hungry, homeless man and had nothing to give. What do you do with a moment like that? You learn from it. You do better. And you keep moving forward. If you truly feel the weight of what God offered in placing His Son in your place, your heart's response will not be silence. It will be love in action. Loving people is worship of God in its most tangible form — and it is the one thing over which you have complete control, regardless of your circumstances. So, what is your faith actually doing? Download this week's "Moment of Truth" to hear what it means to move from empty faith to courageous action. God Isn't Finished With This Nation

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: Matthew 5:13-16 (NIV) — "You are the salt of the earth, but if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything except to be thrown out and trampled under foot. You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden, neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl, instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven." As we reflect on 250 years of this nation's history, the question is not what America was. The question is what you are going to do about what it is becoming. The United States was founded as a Christian nation — not opinion, not sentiment, but legal fact. In 1892 the Supreme Court ruled unanimously, drawing on 80 historical and legal precedents, that this is a Christian nation. Our rights do not extend from a muddy puddle in an accidental universe. They extend from our Creator. Will Christians today have the courage of those who signed the Declaration of Independence — risking their homes and fortunes for freedom and righteousness? God blessed the founding of this nation. He saw it through 250 years of struggle. And He is waiting today for our courageous commitment to Him. It has been said that the only thing necessary for evil to triumph is that good men do nothing. As Christian Americans, doing nothing is not an option. Listen now to this week's "Moment of Truth" to hear why 250 years of God's grace on this nation demands your courageous response. Learn the Truth. Think clearly. Act decisively. Take your faith everywhere you go. Run Your Race

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: Hebrews 12:1 (NIV) — "Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us." The world did not want Jesus. It will not want you either. Not at work, not in your children's education, not at the voting booth. So, what are you going to do about it? Real faith takes courage. Not just believing the Truth — living it, even when it costs you. On Father's Day, a golfer named Wyndham Clark was heckled relentlessly by a hostile crowd at the US Open. He didn't change how he played. He stayed focused, shot by shot, and won the tournament wire to wire. Success didn't silence the fools. It never does. You serve Jesus, not the mob. Their right to be them does not give them the right to define you. Your task is to follow Christ — one interaction, one day, one decision at a time. Not theirs. Not the crowd's. Yours. When the devil whispers that you are not enough, treat him like a badly behaved spectator. Ignore him and keep running. No Bystanders

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: Romans 12:9 (NIV) — "Abhor what is evil. Hold fast to what is good." On June 6, 1944, an estimated 160,000 soldiers landed on the beaches of Normandy. There were no bystanders. Everyone on this planet had a vested interest in the outcome. The fate of humanity hung in the balance. The same is true today. You cannot appease evil. Neville Chamberlain tried it with Hitler for three years while the world turned a blind eye — and 6 million of God's chosen people paid the price. Burying your head in the sand is not an option when evil is stealing the future of your children, corrupting your culture, and silencing your church. Here is what you also need to know: evil is always worse than you think it is. What you see is only a shadow of the darkness that pervades this world. And as we stay silent, it gets darker still. There are no bystanders in the clash between good and evil. Not in 1944. Not now. You have a unique place to serve on this spiritual battlefield. The only question is whether you will show up. Rock or Sand

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2512697/fan_mail/new] This week's Moment of Truth: Matthew 7:24-27 (NIV) — "Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock, and the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock. And everyone who hears these words of mine and does not do them will be like a foolish man who built his house on the sand, the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat against that house, and it fell, and great was the fall of it." The rain will fall. The floods will come. The winds will blow. That is not a maybe — that is a promise. The only question is what your house is built on. If your hope is in politics, you are placing it in men. Men who were wrong yesterday and will be wrong again tomorrow. Men whose schemes created the problems they now promise to fix. But if your hope is in God, His Son Jesus Christ, and the unchanging truth of the Bible — then politics becomes what it was always meant to be: a necessary human undertaking, not the foundation of your life. Politics is downstream of culture. Culture is downstream of faith. And biblical faith — rooted in the unchanging truth of God's word — is the foundation on which everything else must be built. So what is yours built on?
