The same is true of sin. We should want the Holy Spirit to cleanse us from all sin, just like a surgeon removing all of the cancer. However, for many Christians, they’ve become comfortable with it. Losing Your Life to Gain It

Do you know what an “oxymoron” is? It’s when you say something that’s contradictory. Like, “Momma, this apple pie is ‘awful good.’” Now, here in the south, we know that you mean that your mom’s pie is excellent! Yet, the term “awful good” is an oxymoron. Jesus often spoke in this way. He said that if you wanted to have life, you had to be willing to lose your life. Join us as we see what He meant when He offered that oxymoron. And yes, we believe it’s going to be an “awful good” day!
