S2Ep9: "Rachel Buckle" Listening to Your Animal's Innate Wisdom

Host Jordan Banks and guest Rachel Buckle of "Messages From Within" first met in a four-month Animal Communication and Energy Healing Course two-years-ago. In this episode they meet again to discuss what has unfolded in Rachel's journey into animal communication since being a part of Felicity Davies' "Intuitive Equestrian" program together. Rachel shares how understanding her "claires" and unique way of receiving Animal Communication messages helped her build trust in the messages she was receiving and stresses the importance of not comparing yourself to others when learning how to communicate with animals. Starting with Yes or No questions and later expanding the depth of your questions once you have started to trust in your abilities is a tactic that Rachel says helped her on her own path. She explains how letting go of your logical mind allows the information to come through more easily. Rachel started her Instagram page "Messages From Within" as a way to share the messages she was getting in her sessions with a wider audience (with client permission) and expressed that animals have innate wisdom and are passionate about sharing it freely. "You can choose to go to therapy, or you can listen to your animals," she said, explaining the depth of the information they share. We also discuss how listening to your animals requires you to drop your ego and any "masks" or "pretending" you might be doing. Because pretending confuses your horse and erodes their trust. Horses want us to show up as we are she said. ECVM frequently causes chronic pain, behavioral issues and training difficulties in horses. Thankfully, Rachel was paying attention and noticed the signs early. We talk about ways to "be" with a horse when riding is not an option and how "holding space" for your horse to go into a meditative state allows them to do some of their own "healing" work that you may not even realize they are doing. Rachel shares how she developed a simple yes/no communication system with Archie using eye blinks, which helped establish a two-way flow of information between them that she utilized on a day-to-day basis. The funny part of this story is she started this process with her eyes closed using a "sway" test, but then discovered Archie wanted her eyes open because his "yes" was a blink! Rachel reflects on her experience with Archie as a privilege and a testament to the importance of listening to and trusting her intuition in their relationship, as his "issues" that developed under saddle had a real physical reason behind them that many in the horse world may have just tried to work him through. Rachel is now navigating her path forward through the grief in honor of Archie and explains how she's using "connection" to help her in this process. All of this and so much more! Rekindling Magic and Intuition Host Jordan Banks discovered Jen Woolwine, an Army Combat Veteran, former Trauma Recovery Coach, Human Design Guide and Animal Communicator on Instagram this past year and over time noticed that her content was really resonating, particularly a special post about unicorns and rekindling our belief in magic. In this episode, Jordan and Jen explore themes of childhood imagination, societal conditioning and the process of reclaiming one's intuitive gifts. Journey to Animal Communication Jen shares her journey of discovering animal communication, which began with a surprising conversation with her peacock who spoke to her one day out of the blue and in a British accent! She realized this was not just her imagination and started googling "Is Animal Communication Real?" She proceeded to enroll in multiple animal communication courses and read all the books she could get her hands on to learn more! She discovered that this in fact is her true calling. S2Ep7: "Brittany Lowe" Life Is Short ~ Let It BE Beautiful!

A magical and fun episode! Join our host Jordan Banks and guest Brittany Lowe of "Rein or Shine Horse Massage" for My Magical Horse ~ The Podcast's VERY FIRST "IN PERSON" chat! This episode opens with a very special "Q'oya Sacred Space Prayer" read by Brittany, that we were introduced to by Dr. Tracy Rainwaters in her course "Alchemy Of The Soul." Two friends discussing their respective journey's into animal communication and energy healing, which often parallel each other. The two share their personal experiences and insights throughout this conversation, including how they first met AND how Brittany helped Jordan when Ugo suffered a potentially life ending injury about a year ago ~ Brittany recalls connecting with animals easily in childhood, but that ability was later suppressed due to traumatic events she experienced as a child and young adult. Ultimately it was her experiences with horses that led her to becoming an equine massage therapist and later an energy healer and animal communicator. This conversation highlights the importance of releasing fear, trusting your intuition, and making space to allow magical moments to unfold in unexpected ways. Brittany started an entrepreneurial venture with the goal of buying a horse at the early age of just eight-years-old. She got that horse, "Jake" on her 11th birthday. Jake, a former NFR barrel racer, turned out to be much older and less sound than he was marketed as, however Brittany says he was definitely meant for her and turned out to be an invaluable teacher in her youth. Brittany recalls her experiences with Jake, Goldie and then Cover Girl, who ultimately led her into a career in equine bodywork, instead of her intended path as a Production Operations Manager at Boeing. While in her Junior Year of college, Brittany lost all three of these childhood horses within a 6-month period. It sent her into a spiral of grief and unhealthy coping mechanisms. Looking back at it now, Brittany says it was needed to teach her "how" to grieve for the biggest loss yet to come. A week before she graduated, Brittany's father was diagnosed with 14 brain tumors. He died within 5 months of his diagnosis. But prior to that diagnosis, after all the equine losses Brittany had experienced, her Dad insisted that she get another horse, even though she had "sworn off" horses. That next horse "Frankie" ultimately bonded closely with Brittany's dad and led to a profound shift in his understanding and appreciation of Brittany's newly chosen career path. He finally recognized the importance of Brittany's work and encouraged her to pursue her passion and the career that would bring her the most joy and fulfillment. Energy Work and Healing Journey Brittany's journey into energy work and animal communication began during the COVID-19 pandemic when she was unable to work due to licensing restrictions on massage therapists. During that time, Brittany discovered she had unprocessed grief from not only her father's death, but also the death of her best friend when she was just 12-years-old. This led to extreme PTSD during the pandemic and ultimately led her to begin her own healing journey. She found a program which introduced her to meditation and applied kinesiology, a method of muscle testing that helps determine vibrational energies of yes or no. She used applied kinesiology to find specific vitamins that would benefit her health, and continues to use it daily for both herself and the lives of her horses. S2Ep6 BONUS: "Iguana Be My Valentine?" Love Letters From A Lizard

Meet Elvis the Iguana! We know we are usually talking about horses and even dogs and cats, but today you are in for a unique treat! Join us for an in-depth conversation about experiences with reptile pets and the messages they too want to share with us as sentient beings. In this episode we honor "Elvis," Katherine Lowry's iguana who recently crossed the veil in December of 2025. This conversation is a heartfelt discussion about the personalities, sentience and communication abilities of reptiles and concludes with a "Love Note" full of the wisdom Elvis wants to share with the world. Our journey begins with Katherine sharing her experience of adopting her first iguana named "Sugar Whip" from a reptile store in Arizona. Whip was about 4-5 years old and 4.5 feet long, had previously been attacked by dogs and had ultimately been surrendered to the pet store and subsequently intimidated the staff who were unsure about letting Katherine hold her. It was crystal clear that Sugar Whip chose Katherine on that chance encounter which led to her adoption and Katherine's first experience living with an Iguana as part of the household. Katherine's second iguana was a Blue Iguana named "Shakti" who was just a baby when she joined Katherine's family. Shakti was more reserved and regal and her bond with Katherine developed more gradually, encouraged through shared meals of salad and blueberries. When Katherine met Elvis, she did not feel ready yet for another Iguana, she was still grieving the loss of Shakti. But Elvis spoke to her at a Reptile Expo saying "I'm here..." Originally thought to be a male iguana, Katherine learned later that "HE" was actually a "SHE" when Elvis was having difficulty laying the 50 eggs she had produced! Katherine started a Facebook page called "Sage Advice from a House Iguana" to share more of her and Elvis's journey, which is also when I fell in love with this beautiful lizard!
