Barbara. The national debate over birthright citizenship is back at the forefront, but the conversation I’m hearing on the news—whether from the Left or the Right—is fundamentally missing the point. I’ve just finished recording a new episode of my podcast to offer a perspective that doesn't fit into the two-party binary. We cannot have a just conversation about who "belongs" on this land until we are willing to look at the foundations of our Nation itself.
