Abdicating Responsibility for Your Faith

Today's passage looks at a tendency many religious people have to worship the Lord on Sunday and then worship other gods during the week. It might be doing what we think we have to do to be successful at business, make a good profit, have an intimate relationship, or have a family. The fault is giving our religious responsibility over to an authority who will tell us what we need to do so then the rest of the week we can think about other things than following Jesus. Let's look at how this happens in 1st Samuel chapter 12.

Becoming Less Than Human

Have you ever heard a news story that made you cringe or be revolted at a gut level because it seemed so barbaric or inhumane? Sometimes inhumane behavior makes a person inhuman.
