Fall fly fishing in Virginia is heating up and the stripers are migrating back into the Chesapeake Bay and our Tidal Rivers from the north. This is a great time to target them in large schools. These fish are extremely agressive and will destroy a fly presented near them. We are a couple weeks into the 2025 Salmon season and things are heating up! But because of the drought conditions NYS DEC has closed the Lower Fly Zone to anglers until November 1st. Captain Jay Peck joins the show to talk about this temporary ordinance and why it is needed.
