On May 25, 1970, 22-year-old Ilonka spoke with her parents in Ohio, excited about coming home for a visit that summer. She never made that trip. The very next afternoon, she vanished from her rural Pennsylvania farmhouse, leaving behind all her belongings and her 15-month-old son crying alone in his crib. For decades, searches of the isolated property yielded nothing, while the case took bizarre legal turns regarding her husband's personal life.
