We live in a public culture that loves a good scandal. The second someone makes a mistake or breaks a personal promise, society rushes in with public shaming, cancel culture, and amplified blame. The pressure to uphold a flawless act is exhausting, and it leaves us deeply terrified of being exposed. In Week 3 of our series, In Real Life, we pull back the curated curtain on the most outspoken, headstrong, and inconsistent disciple in the New Testament: Simon Peter.
