This week, the Baldwins share their current project: It’s a family comedy called Harlem Saints - think of it as an urban MIGHTY DUCKS for this generation. For years, the Baldwins have been great believers in the importance of diversity in hockey and, in fact, had the idea for this project decades ago.

This week, Howard and Karen discuss "Odd Man Rush," a film that tells the story of Bill Keenan, who grew up in the 1990s as a New York Rangers fan, played hockey for Harvard and ended up in Sweden and Germany when injuries disrupted his dreams of an NHL career. "Odd Man Rush" was well received by the critics. One described the film as "surprisingly sweet and thoughtful for a film that revolves around hockey. It certainly deserves recognition for its nuanced portrait of a side of the hockey world that is rarely shown on screen."

This week, Howard and Karen will discuss one of hockey's all-time greats: Gordie Howe! The Howe family played for the Baldwins in the WHA, and were involved in a movie about Howe's 1973 return to playing hockey with the new Houston Aeros of the World Hockey Association. The movie, "Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story," premiered in 2013 and was a big hit in Canada.

This week, Bruce McNall joins Howard and Karen Baldwin to discuss the growth of hockey’s popularity in the United States. McNall is the man who brought "The Great One" Wayne Gretzky to Los Angeles. McNall has had a fascinating and controversial life, making his fortune as a coin collector, and ending up as the owner of the LA Kings.

This week, Howard and Karen Baldwin discuss one of their favorite films: "Mystery Alaska." It’s the story of a small town hockey team that suddenly gets a chance to play against the New York Rangers and features Russell Crowe, Hank Azaria, Mary McCormick, and Burt Reynolds. The Baldwins will share all the details of making the movie and why stories of people overcoming odds are their favorite to produce.
