About Read Rising

We are a group of friends, Craig, Sam, Liz, and Nick, with a shared love of fantasy and sci-fi, brought together by the works of Pierce Brown. Join us weekly for our in-depth discussions of the series, and laugh with us as we share our potentially outlandish takes and analyses. This season, we will be discussing Red Rising, the first book of the series of the same name. If you’d like to read along with us, this season consists of four episodes following this one, split into the four parts of book one. While the focus of this season is on book one, if you haven’t read the series yet, we DO discuss spoilers for the entirety of the first trilogy. We will do our best to avoid and/or mark any and all spoilers for the second era of the Red Rising series, in case any of you are like Nick and have been waiting on Pierce to finish Red God.
