About Reel Family Podcast

A movie review podcast about two movie-obsessed Gen X sisters, Christie and Carrie, who introduce the “classics” they grew up with to their Gen Z niece, Cobie. Cobie, who has a degree in film studies and is working toward her Master’s, is teaching them the finer points of film beyond mere entertainment. Pop some popcorn and listen along, as we discuss movies we haven’t seen in years or even at all, and break down what we liked or didn’t like about the movie, and how movies have changed throughout the years.
