RK BODDU
Part of career conversations podcast series, this episode shares an experience how familiarity breeds contempt i.e. That which is near is not valued. In this episode I discussed about my own experience with my child when i play a role of career mentor, explaining the scenario typically how most children take their parents for granted which is kind of "That which is near is not valid". Emphasis on engaging with a professional career mentor or counselor to fulfill the career guidance requirement irrespective of how knowledgeable the parent is, so that it enables both the child and parent to make an informed career decision.
