About Rock Rankings

We’re two guys, Joe Turner and Mr. G, who grew up loving music, addicted to Top 40 radio, and have opinions about our favorite songs by the rock era’s best artists. Oh, and we’re brothers. Each week we pick an act and give our personal top ten lists from the artist, and we compare to see who has the best list. The genre is pop music from 1955-1989, and we countdown our personal top tens from the best artists of that era. We encourage listeners to send us their top three and to vote on which one of us had the better list. If you grew up on great radio (especially the golden AM days), collected records, were addicted to MTV when they actually played videos, and/or never missed an episode of American Top 40, this is definitely your podcast.
