Welcome back for part 2 of The Incredible Esther Coleman. In the last episode we talked about Esther's family, career, and her loving mother. In this episode of Rollin’ with Ray, we focus on how Esther is dealing with and handling being diagnosed with breast cancer.

Episode 25, Part 1, Breast Cancer Awareness Month featuring Esther Coleman

In honor of Breast Cancer Awareness month-- in this episode of Rollin with Ray, you will meet the incredible fighter Esther Coleman. Esther has worked for the City of Grand Prairie for over 40 years, her current position is the Director of Housing and Neighborhood Services. She will talk about her life journey, career, and her battle with breast cancer. As you may be aware, I recently lost my mother and Esther also lost her mother around the same time. We will also discuss how she is dealing with the passing of her mother. Esther has an incredible story that you get to hear about in episodes 25 and 26. In Part 2 we will dive into how Esther is dealing with having cancer. Come along and follow her journey.

Episode 24, Part 2 Sharing memories and dealing with the grief of my mother, Maria Cerda

I am saddened to tell you my eighty-five-year-old mother passed away in August. I want to thank everyone who has sent me text messages, phone calls, letters, and flowers/plant. My family and I are very appreciative of all the love and support. In the last episode of Rollin’ with Ray, you will met my niece, Nikki Daly and sister, Debbie Williams who has volunteered to drive down memory lane with me of how we as a family remember my mom and celebrate her life as a mother and a grandmother. Part 2 of this series will be discussing grief and how we handle it. I hope you enjoy the show and take away some really great memories of my mom.

In the last episode, I had told you that I would be taking the entire month of August off to enjoy the last bit of summer. Unfortunately, that did not happen.
