248 Liberal doublespeak bad logic to watch out for - Is MAGA a cult?

Is MAGA a cult? The answers from the Left I've discovered are not honest. They sound good, but are really liberal doublespeak where they take your question, respond by asking a different question, answer that new question and assume it answers your question. Look out for this deceptive and dishonest arguing tactic. Live 8/11/2026. 0:00 – Intro to doublespeak which defeats conversation 1:48 – Liberals want to sow Trump hate & will say anything even without a firm argument 2:56 – Is MAGA a cult? Liberals will in turn to answer the question: Is Trump a cult leader? These are different questions 5:10 – Cults are defined by internal actions, not the existence of someone who might have the traits of a cult leader 8:06 – Like when youtubers call out MAGA as a cult without defining the word or much evidence | propaganda to low info voters 10:41 – Don't worry about argument points when the logic is questionable This podcast was a 2025 People's Choice Podcast Award nominee. 247 I read the Book of Mormon - book review through a writer's eyes

I read the Book of Mormon of the Church of Latter Day Saints, so you don't have to. I chose to view the book forgetting all I know and have read of the church, including ignoring controversies, its cult reputation, Mormon friends, Joseph Smith's critics, and criticisms/debunking of the religion. I approached the book as a writer (of numerous books) and a general spiritual speaker, attempting to come to it unbiased. How does it stand up as a bit of literature, true or not? This is not a dissection of the cult or of Mormons themselves or the religion in general, but Joseph Smith and his book that he either composed or translated. Live 8/7/2026. 0:00 – Intro to reviewing Book of Mormon as a writer and avid reader looking objectively | discussion limits | initial response to reading book 7:10 – Why I read Book of Mormon 9:37 – Not discussing Bible vs Book of Mormon 10:54 – Book of Mormon defied expectations 13:09 – Writing in Reformed Egyptians doesn't make sense for an autonomous group (I accidentally call this New Egyptian) 16:12 – Gold plates seem awkward 17:41 – Piecemeal history skipping events 20:04 – Prophets repeating same message 23:50 – No emotional depth to characters or places | poorly written book/history 28:48 – Jesus is coming 30:35 – Follow God as there is evil all around | repetitious message from God 34:29 – Feels like one writer through all books 38:08 – Impossible for a person to write a book like this41:21 – "Best fiction book ever" | "it came to pass" repeated line | poorly constructed story | lacking prophecy details 51:00 – Reading Book of Mosiah about details concerning Jesus Christ coming 124 years later | overly detailed prophecy of future person 57:35 – Joseph Smith mention in Book of Mosiah as future prophet/seer | discussing translating unreadable records in the future post-language demise 1:03:11 – Reading Book of Mosiah with disjointed history & random facts 1:08:14 – Reading Book of Alma with lack of details 1:12:25 – Reading Book of Alma about being born again in Jesus Christ who will be born 83 years later | having strong faith, Christian faith in Book of Revelation 1:15:48 – Details of Jesus in Book of Mormon yet vague details in Old Testament books | no mention of Mormon history in any history of peer cultures 1:18:20 – Reading Book of Alma on future Jesus 1:19:18 – Questions on linguistics of "church" | unrealistic story 1:20:58 – Reading Book of Alma on Moses writings on Jesus Christ's coming 1:21:50 – Reading Book of Alma on terminology 1:22:50 – Reading Book of Helaman declaring it can't mention history of ocean going society 1:26:23 – Reaching Book of 3 Nephi on appearance of Jesus | imperfect post-Resurrection body 1:29:47 – Reading Book of 3 Nephi on Jesus' words being so "great and marvelous" they couldn't be recorded or spoken 1:35:20 – Disappointed & bored overall with Book of Mormon compared to other religious scripture | comparison with Ramayana & Book of the Law 1:41:44 – General thoughts on Mormons | not being completely objective as I intended | lessons found in Bible | not feeling a "burning in the bosom" | 100% of religions say to pray to God for truth A good website critical of Mormonism: https://read.cesletter.org/ This podcast was a 2025 People's Choice Podcast Award nominee. episode 245 How come trans people aren't suing doctors for malpractice? Debunking trans identity. artwork

245 How come trans people aren't suing doctors for malpractice? Debunking trans identity.

Questioning why there are no massive malpractice lawsuits due to doctors misgendering babies and boys/girls, only to find out years later they are not boys or girls but furries, non-binary, etc. How much better the world would be if doctors declared one was a furry at birth and not misgendering a baby. .... Actually, this one logical question debunks the current trans movement, as they can't prove any science in order to take doctors to court. Live 8/2/2026. Note: As someone who has taken an interest in the trans movement for 25 years, including dating a trans person when it was unpopular, I believe that much of the current trans movement is a social issue, not a medical condition. As the later would imply that in the last few decades when the medical establishment lifted the requirements that one had to live as the opposite sex long before surgery, do therapy first, etc, that suddenly at that same moment all of biology went wrong, biology changed, god mixes up bodies, etc. Coincidentally right at the moment the medical establishment realized they had a pot of gold science suddenly went haywire after half a million years, with no outside or scientific cause in sight, and we're told that over half the population is in the wrong body or other wild claims. What we really have is a small group of trans people - like the awesome activists Blaire White, Suhaila Devi, Buck Angel - and then others who are lonely, depressed, outsiders, autistic, gay, trapped, broken, etc, and they heard being trans solves all their problems (like Chloe Coe and my friend David Arthur of I Belong Ministries in Maine) and even the LGBQ community is beginning to say this truth. 244 Responding to Comments from a cult member - spotting the cult mentality

Responding to comments from a member of Adidam led by Adi Da Samraj (aka Franklin Jones, Bubba Free John), the cult I once belonged to, demonstrating how the comments reveal a cult mentality. Pre-recorded, live 8/1/2026. 0:00 – Responding to Adidam member in comments | Robert J. Lifton's cult criteria | recognizing a cult 3:37 – Did talk with Apostle Dr. Lee Ann Marino on my experience as a member of Adidam, criticized & called a liar by current member | my current views of Avatar Adi Da Samraj 6:03 – Black & white cult thinking: criticizing guru is impossible for guru is great & thus critic is the problem | guru members are right & everyone else is wrong, us vs them 9:41 – Black & white cult thinking: Guru is always right, criticism of guru is always wrong 10:12 – Story of gaslighting on Adidam facebook forum about my own past experience 12:24 – Recruiting members isn't about understanding or caring This podcast was a 2025 People's Choice Podcast Award nominee.
