Sarra’s Take on Psychology is a podcast that feels like a conversation, not a lecture. I’m a very social teenage girl who’s always been the “therapist of the group,” constantly talking to people and hearing different perspectives. Growing up in an Arabic-dominant culture where mental health is sometimes misunderstood made me want to prove it and investigated form a more scientific standpoint. This podcast explores psychology, mental health, culture, habits, and everyday behaviour through real conversations and ideas.

With mental health content everywhere, it’s easier than ever to recognize symptoms in ourselves… but where do we draw the line between awareness and misinterpretation?I explore the role of social media, the impact of stigma, and why feeling “seen” online can sometimes lead to oversimplified labels. This episode isn’t about dismissing people’s experiences- it’s about understanding them more deeply and questioning whether self-diagnosis brings clarity or confusion.
