How to discern the voice of the Lord - Part 1

Welcome to our season 3 of our seasoned word devotional podcast. This morning we start a new subtopic under the subject of Preparation. We have highlighted that preparation is fulfilled by inclining your ears to hear every instruction of the Lord and acting on them. But before you act on the instructions you must confirm that the instructions you are hearing are of the Lord. How do you discern the voice or the instructions of the Lord? That is that subtopic topic we address in season 3. I trust that these teaching bring the light of Gods word into your spirit to know how to discern and confirm the voice of the Lord in your preparation for the supply of your need. I pray this message strengthens your confidence in the Lord and gives you the guidance on how to incline your ears to hear the Lord and confirm his voice. How to prepare for the supply of your need - Part 9

Welcome to the Seasoned Word Devotional Podcast. Today we finish season 2 with Episode 9 of the subject - How to prepare for the supply of all your need according to scripture. Again, we draw our learnings from a practical example in scripture  John 2:1-11. In this text, Jesus and his disciples and his mother were invited to a wedding in Cana of Galilee. This scripture also reveals the same principles we have uncovered in Luke 11:5-13 as requirements to meet in order for our needs to be supplied by God These six principles for receiving God’s provision are: 1. Determine whether your desire qualifies as a true need 2. Do not be limited by times, seasons, or circumstances 3. Ask—petition the Lord (Ask in Faith) 4. Prepare to receive 5. Persist in faith 6. Wait with expectation in faith In this episode, we continue our discussion on: how to prepare for the supply of your need.
