After decades of earnest seeking — twenty years of Transcendental Meditation, immersion in Buddhist practice, retreats and ashrams, and eventually a deep dive into Advaita Vedanta and self-inquiry — something finally gave way in early 2015. What emerged was not a peak experience but a permanent shift: a clear, stable recognition of awareness as the ground of all being. It is from that ground that Martyn now speaks, writes, and works with others. What distinguishes Martyn is the quality of his honesty. He doesn't traffic in spiritual performance or easy answers. His teaching draws on the nondual heart of both Eastern and Western mystical traditions — Ramana Maharshi and Nisargadatta alongside the Christian contemplatives — and his approach is disarmingly direct: strip away the complexity, rest as awareness, and see what remains. He also offers Shaktipat Transmission, a direct energetic support for awakening that he understands not as something passed from teacher to student, but as consciousness recognizing itself. In this conversation with Stefan Bright and Gary Falk on Seekers and Finders, Martyn brings that same quality of presence — warm, unguarded, and pointing always toward what is already here. Deborah Santana - "Loving the Fire"

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2407532/fan_mail/new] In this episode of Seekers and Finders, hosts Stefan Bright and Gary Falk sit down with Deborah Santana — author, activist, and founder of the nonprofit Do A Little, whose work has carried education, health, and dignity to women and girls around the world. Deborah is the author of Space Between the Stars, co-editor of All the Women in My Family Sing, and her newest memoir, Loving the Fire: Choosing Me, Finding Freedom — a deeply personal account tracing her journey from daughter of a pioneering interracial couple, through her 34-year marriage to music legend Carlos Santana, to the spiritual awakening and rebirth that followed her courageous decision to begin again. A holder of a Master of Arts in Philosophy and Religion with a concentration in Women's Spirituality, Deborah brings both scholarly grounding and lived devotion to everything she does. She is a leadership donor to the Smithsonian National Museum of African American History and Culture and a lead investor in San Francisco's Courage Museum. Stefan, Gary, and Deborah share a bond that reaches back to the 1970s — all three walking the same contemplative path under the guidance of Sri Chinmoy. In this conversation, that decades-long current of shared seeking flows beneath every exchange, opening into an honest, heart-centered exploration of service, selfhood, fire, and freedom. Imogen Webber - The Living Heart Of Presence

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2407532/fan_mail/new] Imogen Webber grew up inside the Transcendental Meditation movement, where the understanding that consciousness is the basis of all existence was simply the air she breathed. Yet it was not practice that brought her to awakening — it was Grace. In 2015, through a transmission of presence, the sense of being a separate doer fell away in what she describes as a lasting and irreversible shift. What followed was not a quiet arrival but a deepening — an often humbling integration of grief, childhood trauma, and everything that awakening draws to the surface. Today Imogen offers Darshan, Divine Light transmissions, and one-to-one sessions from her home in Wales, holding space for what she calls the quiet mystic — the weary seeker tired of striving, the tender soul longing for the sacred without dogma. Her work is not a method or a path to master, but a field of presence where what has always been whole is gently remembered. She is the author of two books, including her most recent collection, Sacred Threads, and hosts the podcast The End of Seeking. Her work can be found at beyondimogen.com. Tawnya Gilbert - Psilocybin The Return To Wholeness

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2407532/fan_mail/new] Tawnya Gilbert - Psilocybin The Return To Wholeness There are those who arrive at the threshold of healing not as theorists but as survivors — people who have walked through the fire of the system itself and emerged carrying something the system could not provide. Tawnya Gilbert is one of those rare voices. An ICU nurse for nearly two decades, she has stood at the bedside of the most fragile human moments, and yet it was her own fragility — buried beneath a decade of alcohol, ten prescribed medications, and a diagnosis of "stable" that meant only numbness — that ultimately became her greatest teacher. Her journey did not end with sobriety. It began there. What she discovered on the other side of the pharmaceuticals and the diagnoses was not a cure but a calling: that true healing requires a person to become the director of their own life, not a passive recipient of someone else's protocol. That conviction led her to postgraduate study in psychedelic integration, to the founding of Eleusinia retreat, and to a vision of medicine that places sovereignty back in the hands of the individual. In this conversation, Tawnya speaks to something that touches all sincere seekers — the moment when the outer structures of healing are exhausted and a deeper inquiry must begin. What does it mean to truly know your own body? What does it mean to stop outsourcing the most intimate dimensions of your life to a system that was never designed to honor them? Her answers are hard-won, and they carry the particular authority of someone who has not merely studied the territory but crossed it.
