Shining Light&Truth
In this episode, I explain how silence, confusion, and hardship are often the very tools God uses to refine us. What we call "brokenness" can feel painful and disorienting, yet it is often the place where our deepest transformation begins. I discuss why brokenness can be a blessing—stripping away self-reliance and drawing us into deeper dependence on God. Through a comparison of Saul and David, I examine how testing, adversity, and surrender prepared David for a successful and enduring reign. In our own seasons of struggle, we often find that God's presence, strength, and guidance become most evident when we have nowhere else to turn.
