Golden Knights Comeback to Take a 3-0 Series Lead

Tomas Hertl scored the go-ahead goal early in the third period as Vegas erased a three-goal deficit to defeat the Colorado Avalanche 5-3. Hertl and William Karlsson each finished with a goal and an assist, while Mitch Marner and Kaedan Korczak contributed two assists apiece. Carter Hart stopped 32 shots as the Golden Knights grabbed a commanding 3-0 lead in the best-of-7 series. Now the pressure shifts to Colorado heading into Game 4 on Tuesday as Vegas looks to complete the sweep and punch its ticket to the Stanley Cup Final. Canadiens Hand Hurricanes First Loss of the Playoffs

Juraj Slafkovsky led the charge with two goals and an assist, while Cole Caufield and Phillip Danault each added a goal and an assist. Nick Suzuki chipped in three assists, and Jakub Dobes turned aside 25 shots as Montreal grabbed an early series lead. Seth Jarvis and Eric Robinson scored for Carolina, who suffered their first loss of the postseason after sweeping both the Senators and Flyers in the opening two rounds. Golden Knights Take Game 1 & ECF Starts Tonight

Carter Hart was stellar between the pipes, stopping 36 shots to backstop Vegas to the road victory. Pavel Dorofeyev continued his dominant postseason run, scoring his playoff-leading 10th goal, while Dylan Coghlan, Brett Howden, and Nic Dowd also found the back of the net for the Pacific Division champions. Mitch Marner and Tomas Hertl each contributed assists as the Golden Knights seized early control of the series.  Carolina enters the Eastern Conference Final undefeated after sweeping Ottawa and Philadelphia, while Montreal battled through back-to-back seven-game series, capped by an overtime Game 7 win to reach the showdown.
